Z is for Zaphod Beeblebrox
My last Alphabooks entry is Zaphod Beeblebrox from the science fiction story “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” by Douglas Adams.
And that concludes my 26 letter journey in the Alphabooks project. It has been a fun and enriching experience and I got to know a lot of book characters I didn’t know before, and of course it was an excellent drawing training for me.

W is for Ward Littell
from James Ellroy’s American TabloidThis is another drawing that made me want to reread the book. Especially since I’ve still only read the first two books from this trilogy that Ward Littell is a major player in. It may be time for a re-read soon in order to read the whole story at once. I’m a sucker for tough guy noir fiction. I’m also a sucker for the ’60s, the Kennedy assassination, Cuba and all of that. These books have it all.
Ward Littell is an FBI agent turned Mob lawyer. I always pictured him a little like Kevin Spacey I think.
